Development Overview

Cyclamax - Maximising Waste Resource
‘Cyclamax's strategy is to pursue two types of development’.

Resource Park

These are by definition large new facilities 10 acres plus, developed on land favourably disposed within the planning framework for heavy industrial use, job creation or in need of regeneration due to previous use. The development will look to provide a facility required within the local market.

The sites will operate a Materials Recycling Facility (MRF) and an Advanced Conversion Technology as its core.

The site is intended to have many other complimentary waste-based businesses clustered on it. These businesses could either be co-located to utilise recyclate recovered from the MRF, could be using the power or heat from the Advanced Conversion Technology or simply be taking advantage of the planning disposition of the Resource Park.

Cyclamax has experience and skills in developing businesses that are bespoke to their market. With its strategic partners in land remediation and construction, Cyclamax can provide a turnkey partnership development package for land which has previously been seen to have little or no beneficial use.

Waste Facility Enhancement

Throughout the UK there are over 4500 independent waste management companies engaged in managing waste on a regional or local level.

However, with landfill availability reducing and costs rising, with waste producers and legislation driving towards ever more technologically sophisticated waste treatment and disposal options, the next development step could very well be crucial to guaranteeing future competitiveness.

With the legislative framework pre-disposed to the use of existing sites, Cyclamax sees its developments as an enhancement to current operations.
In essence, Cyclamax through its core competencies will seek to maximise recycling and look to remove the need to landfill material by building an Advanced Conversion Technology (ACT) on the site, thus making the business self reliant.
